Department of Sports Science
History and Mission
The Department of Sports Science was established in 2020. The Department of Sport Science has a strong focus on applications and basic research in sport science. Topics that are often researched include sport nutrition, exercise and health, health promotion and doping. The strategic area of the Department of Sports Science is in the field of sports nutrition and the vision of the group is to set up a master's degree in physiology and sports nutrition, which is approved by the Ministry. Another vision of the group is to establish a doctoral program in sports physiology, which will be done until 2026.
